I've been bitten by the Spring bug and have been buying/planting some flowers. I picked up an Alice du Pont Mandevilla at the mark-down rack at Lowes not long ago. It's starting to climb... can't wait for it to flower.
Also got an Ageratum "Artist Blue". Plus I've been wanting to get a trailing plant to put near my Hummingbird feeder. I decided to go with Calibrachoa "Million Bells". No luck at finding any at Lowes, Home Depot or the "big" nursery, but finally found some at WalMart. Picked up the "Hawaiian Luau" one. I just potted both of these and will get photos as soon as they "settle in".
I've also planted some seeds that came with a hanging pot that a co-worker gave to me for Christmas. It came with Alyssum Snowcloth, Chrysanthemum, Cineraria Silver Dust, Lobelia Sapphire, Petunia Pendula and Verbana. They have just started to sprout. Hope they grow as pretty as the picture on the box!
Also planted some more seeds for Texas Star and Ballerina Angel Trumpet since I don't think mine survived the winter.
Found a pack of Forget Me Not seeds and Morning Glory seeds and also got them started. Also had 5 little seeds that I can't remember where I got them from or what they are. Guess I'll just have to wait and be surprised when they grow and flower. I'm sure I'll be posting it here to ID them. :-D
Next on my list is to get some more water plants.
And then I guess I'd better hold off on getting anything else until I see what plants will or will not come back from the winter damage. (yeah right!) :D

Here's some photos of my "2010 start".
This is the Ageratum "Artist Blue".

And in it's container (that will go on my "old blue shelf").

And here's the Million Bells "Hawaiian Luau" mix

And the Mandevilla as it begins to climb...

And I almost forgot to mention that since the seeds I thought I had for Lily of the Nile turned out to be something else... I went ahead and purchased to plants... one white and the other blue. No blooms yet... but hopefully I'll get some this year.

It all looks wonderful.. I really like the Million Bells colors.

Heading to garden center today to pick up some peat and stuff....

How much do you wanna bet I can't resist buying some flowers? It's still kind of cold in the night (mid-high 30s). I feel nervous to leave my babies outside yet, so I'm still bringing them in at night.
