Here are my two sarter plants. I was told that I needed bigger pots for both of these guys. How big or deep should the pots be? Do they have to have drainage holes? Thanks! :)

    Hiyah,
Well the plants underneath look pretty well situated (for now), but the ones above will need something deeper fairly soon. It looks like it can wait until spring though.
Personally, I would separate them and place them into deeper pots. They will grow taller and thicker and can become top heavy. We call them jade plants here and I have one. I forced it to grow into a tree shape, that means that the lower stem is bare...like a tree ;)
It has become top heavy a couple of times and actually fallen over! It is due for another re-potting very soon.
The lower ones will eventually need a wider and deeper pot as well, as they can become quite tall and may have the tendency to fall over as well.
    Good luck.

I agree about separating your starter plants into individual and deeper pots Heather-Lynn. This will help the root system to spread instead of wrapping themselves around the inside of the pot - thus becoming pot bound.
Jade plants and mother-in-law's tongues are pretty easy to grow as they don't need a lot of attention. Keep out of direct sunlight though as they have a tendancy to burn.
Water sparingly and it's best to water them from the bottom. This can be done by standing the pot(must have holes in the bottom and a clay pot is best) in a plant pot base and filling it with gravel or small pebbles.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. :stew1:
