My Tulips

Finally I have something I can show you all. I put them in a vase, but now they are closing..... Do they close at night and open during the day??? Did I kill them????

I think they close up when they cool off

 

Oh and they will open up when it gets warmer tomorrow????? Very cool.... I told you I knew absolutely nothing about these outside plants and flowers.

I hope so.. My hubby has a little bulb garden at the bottom of the hill. I should be able to snatch some of his and spread them all around this year. He may never notice. *HE HE*

I love tulips. Those are very pretty.

 

Barb, they are beautiful. Mine close up at the end of the day or on cloudy days they don't seem to open, I think it may be temperature and light quality that opens and closes them.

 

@Barb, I like the pink and yellow colors of the tulips. Have you gotten other tulip bulbs planted?

We have added more tulips and many nice irises...His "Lily Valley' is coming along wonderfully...
