Your pictures give me hope! Right now all our vegetables are just starts, in little cells under the grow lights. We plant garlic in the fall, and harvest in late spring. Let us know how your garlic and beans do.
Looking mahvelous. You are getting off to a good start, aren't you. You're excited, I can tell. Chapeau!
I'm going to add a few veggies to my flower beds this year. I have some spicy bell pepper seeds trying to start. I gotta remember to get some garlic and onion starts.
Cheryl, it's best to plant garlic in the fall. Here in central Texas we put it in the ground in October, and harvest in June. Onion sets should be available at (ugh!) Walmart or at a feed store. I just got my seed potatoes today at our feed store, and they were almost out of onion sets.
Thanks Jane... I'm sure I can find some onion sets. Dang... I was looking forward to garlic. Guess I'd better make a note to get some this fall.
