My Vegetable Container Garden

    Hello all! My container garden is doing very well. Here are some new pictures as of today 7/2/10.

    Tomatoes are bigger but not red yet.

    Fantastic shots and fruits and veggies. I am envious of your okra - I love it but we just don't have the summers to grow it here. And fresh watermelon - yumyum! That tomato is a good size, a large one. If he keeps on growing whilst ripening, he will be huge!

    Thank you! Oh do you have a short growing season for okra? This is my first time growing it and watermelon so I am just glad that it is surviving, lol! I am eating a salad from my garden right now. It feel great to grow one's own food. :stew1:

    Great looking vegetables and fruit. :-D There's a few things you have that I can't grow here in Scotland but it doesn't stop me trying!! :rolleyes:

    Thanks! I am fighting the Japanese beetles and powdery mildew now on the okra and cukes...

    Everything looks so yummy.I don't grow okra here as it draws in the fire ants.They drill into the okra stalks and go to the top inside.
