Early Saturday morning (2am o_O), the bf and I left Indiana for Georgia to attend the wedding of one of his friends. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Not that I dont enjoy weddings (cake!), but Im not a social person, so Bob thought I wouldnt have much fun. Lies ;D Sorry the pics are fuzzy, I only have my camera phone :/

We rented a car to take us there since neither of our vehicles are quite up to a road trip. We had placed a reservation for a compact car 3 weeks in advance, but when I got there, they were out! They said the whole north side of Indy was out of compacts o_O So they gave us a small SUV (Chevy Captiva) for the same rate. Not a bad car. We got to our motel in Buford, GA around 10:30am Saturday. Check in time was noon, and the guy wouldnt let us in early (grr) so we parked and Bob got some sleep. The rehearsal dinner was Saturday 6pm and the wedding was Sunday 1pm. We left GA at 8:30 Monday morning and made it back home 4:30pm.

Bob is the short one, the groom is the tall guy. The other three are long-time friends.

What a beautiful place to have a wedding. Or a picnic. Or to just walk around! Glad you had a good time and y'all are a cute couple! Gonna have your wedding there? ;)

Haha no wedding for us! I shudder at the thought of tying myself to someone for years and years O.O It was a beautiful place, I think I spent way more time walking around taking pics of scenery (which I might add later) than talking to people lol

I grew up around that lake. It's always a fun place to go. I used to live in Suwanee which you might have driven through depending on how you went to the lake from Buford. I'm glad you enjoyed our Georgia beauty.

I love Georgia! I spend a fair amount of time in Newnan since my favorite aunt lives there. My favorite spot was up in the Georgia mountains in a little spot called Clarksville. I could move there very easily :p
Looks like a wonderful place for a wedding! Too bad you didn't have a few more days to really explore :p
    great pics!

I do wish we could have stayed a few more days. Here are the nature pics :)

I saw this sign as we were leaving Chota Falls and the bf slammed on the brakes and demanded I take a picture LOL

Love that bridge. I don't think I would want to live on Blowing Wind Lane. :D

These foto's are quite interesting. That was a photogenic area that you were in, down in Georgia. Did you guys have enough time to look around a bit in the area while you were there.
That area looks nice when seen on Google maps.
