This is the little flower bed Ive been redoing. It was a massive tangle of purple hearts and four o clocks until I ripped them all out in a fit. Everything's in the corner because I've put different seeds and bulbs down on different occasion and am trying not to disturb them while they grow lol. I'm afraid I have no idea what's what now though.

Seedlings, sweet pea and alyssum. Have no idea which is which.

    It's a hodgepodge I know.
Plants I've found on discount and fixed up. I love the clearance rack.

Finally started making new beds, the rocks
are new. The butterfly bush is also, another clearance find. Can't wait til it comes back with more blooms.

    Potato vine, my newest plant.

Portulaca, I love when the odd pink one pops up. Most are a peachy color.

Some of my spider lilies. Just put them in a few months ago so I think it'll take a yr for them to really look great. They look a little sad to me.

I hope. Landscaping on a tight budget takes time. There's a great local business that sells natural landscaping stone, my plan is to eventually do the whole yard with lots of walkways and seating areas with it. For now though I'd be happy to see something besides a Cosmo bloom.

Looks like you've been busy. And isn't it amazing what you can find on the clearance rack? :stew2:

I don't think I'll ever pay big money for plants again unless the plant is rare or an absolute necessity. Even the bulbs I have in the ground were .25 a packet. I thought I'd wasted money but at least I do have enough growing for it to have been well worth the change. My biggest problem is where to plant them all! Just got a load of beautiful purple vincas yesterday for almost nothing. I've got plant fever if you can't tell.

Your garden looks very tidy. Isn't it nice to find clearance racks with plants you want? :D

I love your house plant display! I kill most houseplants, even cacti, and admire you and others who manage to make them thrive.

I love your yard, it makes me smile. I love surprises like yu have coming up! You have such an interesting collection of houseplants, wish I could but one of the rescue cats will not let them be. She makes me so mad...but I put up with it because we love her and we promised her a home.

Thanks everyone. Philip I actually scored three pots from the neighbor. They have a bunch of "stuff" lying all over the backyard where we can see it. It's a nuisance, the three pots were a small consolation. I'm working on growing 4 o clocks against that fence in an attempt to block the view.

Plants do great on that back porch. My yard is more difficult. The soil out there is all sand. I'm hoping to get my yard looking nice next, I feel I'm not there yet.
