Mystery bloom??

    This is a "macro" of a bloom head of a common flower in a lot of our gardens. It likes full sun, comes in different colors/varieties and the butterflies and bees love it....and with all that "nectar" just oozing out of it I can see why.

    Got a guess?...the answer will come later.. :stew1:

    It reminds me of a sundew. Monarda?

    Before i scrooled down to the answer i was thinking Thistle or something in that line,..great picture,..great 'what is it'.
