Mystery yellow flowering bulb

    Well,more of a case that I have forgotten what it is-my plant list has disappeared and I'm stuck..

    It flowered during the middle of October.

    Unknown October flowering bulb ( photo / image / picture from Kiasmum's Garden )

    The flower stalk and leaves are about 10 inches long and the flower about 2 inches.

    Sternbergia lutea? aka Winter Daffodil. I realize your's appears to be longer than most but they sure do look alike.

    If it is, would you be so kind as to add your photo and growing information to our plant page .... Sternbergia lutea ;)

    It could also be Zephyranthes citrina

    Thanks Toni,I think that's it. It might be a bit straggly as it has to fight for the light with the cotoneaster and centaureas. I'll do the photo later.
