    He's on the side of my canner. I thought it was a neat background for the picture. Looks like snow.

    I think that thing can bite....watch out. It may be nasty and relentless..

    Donna--It does look like snow. I take it that your canner is the black with white speckles kind?

    I agree with Barb, that bug looks like it would have a nasty bite!

    That is a deer fly, and they bite. And it HURTS!!

    The deer flys seem to like to bite my husband and my labs nose when we lived in the country....we haven't had many around since we moved.
