I found this plant while I was out looking at my Tiger Lilies and Irises, don't know what it is, I did not plant anything there. Can anyone tell me what it is and if it is a good plant or a bad one? It almost looks like one of those air plants, but as I said I did not plant anything so whatever it is either the birds or the wind deposited it there.

If you are referring to the green plant in the centre of the photo, it is a lily, maybe tiger....definitely not air plant or iris.
It is good so I would keep it and watch.

how soon will they bloom? And how long do the flowers last? How tall do the stems get before they bloom, sorry so many questions but it is not often I get something like this that is good and not a weed. So some information on this plant would be nice. Thanks for telling me what it is, I guess some bird dropped some seeds there or maybe the wind dispersed it there, but a pretty good spot, especially since there are Tiger Lilies not that far away.

click on the blue link in my first post, that will take you to the plant page in our database and your questions will be answered. The blooms themselves last a 2-5 days depending on weather conditions.

How long have you lived in the house? Possibly the previous owner planted it? If not, then I am betting a squirrel dug up the bulb in another yard and replanted it in yours intending to go back and eat it during the winter. I have watched them do that to my Caladium bulbs and some of my Sedum.
