Im making a webpage about my trip to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. Its going to have all my pictures, a history of the islands, my personal experiences and a Q&A section (about the islands and horses in general) But I need a name for it all! Something simple to type and easy to rememerb *nods* Any help at all will be appreciated ^_^
The shorter the better Bip (may be hard with Chincoteague in the domain name though ). Also to help with being discovered by search engines seperate distinct words with hyphens i.e. chincoteague-trip.com .com is more memorable and also one of the cheapest domain name endings also.
The problem is if anyone were to use a search engine, they're likely going to spell one or both of those names incorrectly. So perhaps something with Maryland or Delaware Islands? MD-DE-islands.com or some variation? Brainstorm a little and think about how someone would search for information in Google on those islands if they couldn't remember what they were named. It doesn't have to necessarily be short (though that's best)if it's easy to remember and type.
I kinda like ca-islands. Maybe a simpler variation? Hmm... *puts on thinking cap* Or maybe something to do with the pony swim? Or... *scratches head*
I make all my own slide shows and they are narrated by me, I use my movie maker and when they are done, I moved them into photo bucket, also burned them to a CD, as they are for me and whomever I send to photo bucket to view...all the info. you want on that area or any other is already on the web.
I came up with two names today while at work I took bsewnsew's idea of Chass.com, and came up with chass-islands.com. I also came up with ponyswimislands.com.
GoDaddy has a great tool for plugging in suggestions like these and listing off some others that you might not have thought of. My suggestion is to make it something more personal unless you plan on driving traffic to your site through search engines. I like chass-islands.com.
