This is my sister's and she's giving me one. Takes shade, partial sun. Comes up every year and spreads.
The leaves get pretty good size. Does not flower. Sometimes a red sword like sprout will come up at the base of the plant but doesn't do anything.

It looks like Arum Italicum, 'Pictum' variety perhaps. Does it have white spathes and red berries following for the fall?

I still think it is an arum. Maybe this variety doesn't have the spathes and berries.

Well I also think it is an Arum italicum, not a very good form of it though.

Okie, That is the flower on the plant, it is called a spathe and once it is pollinated it will have red berries on it. It is cool looking.

Thank you so much everyone! I will let my sister know. She didn't say anything about red berries tho.
Anyway, she's digging one for me. :-D
