The other day I was in the garden center at Walmart and I found these miniature daffodils called 'Tete a Tete' and miniature tulips for only $0.75. I could not pass up that deal so I bought two daffodils and a yellow tulip.

Also in past news, I had made some planters out of the styrofoam that came in my new TV's box and planted some daisies that I found in them. Well I'm happy to report that they are doing very well and are continuously producing new flowers. They show no signs of stopping anytime soon either.

I have started some poppy seeds that have recently germinated. So far they look healthy and are growing well. I also planted a bulb of garlic because the one we had in the kitchen started growing. I thought it would be fun to try to grow it. It has already grown so much.

    It's looking green in Georgia!
The Tete a Tete is one of the daffodils that do best here in Texas. They are reliable, and even multiply. However, they usually cost more than 75 cents a bulb!

Great flowers Jon, good color, thank you for the spring flower parade. One of the nice aspects of Gardenstew is watching spring progress northward. Even when the ground is covered with snow, the pages of the 'stew' are colored with flowers.

It is getting pretty green here. I attribute that to having almost no winter here.
