Save the first one which has been rather dormant in my garden for a couple of months, I sought the help of a cheeky aunt of mine to ask a specimen of the rest of the plants from a distant relative 1 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) If you've ever caressed the ear of a cat, then you can perfectly imagine how soothing this lovely plant feels to the touch. 2 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) Another plant that looks quite the same minus the soft silk feel. 3 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) This one scares me as it resembles some octopus or another sea creature's skin and yet, I brought it home as I never saw it before. 4 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) Must be a distant cousin of the sunflower The bud resembles that of a marigold's though. 5 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden )
@ Choch: thanks, looks like a Kalanchoe daigremontiana or Devil's Backbone =)) @ Caro: Must be one of the single types of chrysanthemum.
Oubee, please number the photos so we can keep track of the plants that have been IDed and those that have not.
#2 I'm pretty sure it's a Tibouchina. Should produce very cool dark purple flowers. I got one too, but now looking almost dead, leaves all burned and I thought it liked HOT SSSUN.
Mine was a cutting gifted by an aunty too. It's drooping and lost its lush appearance. I simply tucked it in the ground and hoped it would root. Now looks like I was mistaken The flowers look so appealing!
