new bird on the deck

    Didn't think I would get any more first timers. This is the black-headed grosbeak that has been here a few times today.

    He is a beauty. I am in the migration path for both the Black-headed and the Rose-breasted Grosbeak but I have never seen one land in my yard. :(

    I think the bird species are passing information to each other of where to find the perfect garden to visit and it's yours!! :D

    That is 4 or 5 new ones this winter/spring.

    Wow another new one Kildale. I like its peach colour. Is this the male or female?

    This is the male. I had the female here a couple of years ago but have never seen the male till today.
