New blooms

    One of my fancy columbines is blooming.

    My wife bought this about 20 years ago, she dosn't remember what it is, nor has she seen it in any of the nurserys around here again. The blooms are tiny, maybe the size of a small pea.

    Oh your columbine is a real beauty CK. I've just planted seeds of a pure white one so I hope they'll grow well for me.

    Wow! I can see why that Columbine is called "Fancy"! And I totally love those little blue flowers.

    I think the blue one could be Brunnera.

    The little blue flower looks like an "forget me not"
    They grow wild in the pacific north west, these were growing along a hiking trail amongst all other wild things.

    Love that columbine! But, of course I would because it's pink :-D I think the little blue guys are forget me nots :p
