My double columbines just keep producing. My first Asiatic lilly of the season, about a month early. My blue and white columbine. My Yellow Alliums My dinner plate Climatis. This plante is about 20 years old, and yes the bloom are almost the size of a dinner plate. The woodland Columbines.
Every time I see the flowers I like, I find them and go buy it. Some are little sticks or starter plants but I know I time I may get the garden beauty that I see here. Thanks for making it possible. Barb in Pa.
It all looks beautiful! I've never seen a yellow allium before or the woodland columbine. Neato bandito :-o
Very nice Capt! Love the Clematis and Columbine - cool blues. Is the Woodland Columbine the same thing as Meadow Rue?
Netty, I looked up meadow rue and they do look kind of similar and may be related. But they showed it growing in bright sunlight and the woodlands do best in shaded areas. Where I have them planted, they are in shade until late afternoon. Then the trees keep them from getting bright sun, more of a muted sunlight.
