Look at those isises go! Gail. you habe shown a most wonderful array of beautiful blooms this time. You are sooooo far ahead of us here that it's almost like being in another country. ;)
That Japaneese Painted Fern is a lovely-looking thing.

I enjoyed seeing these examples in your garden. Brava! Your garden is looking very impressive......and without squirrels and chipmunks it seems.

Another gardener lagging behind here in Scotland. Your Japanese Painted Fern is so unusual and pretty - now I want one!!

The only iris that have fowered here, so far, are my miniature ones. My azalias will be a while yet before they burst into flower.

Thanks for sharing your garden with us Gail. :-D

So glad to share my photos with you all and I really appreciate your comments. The japanese painted fern is one of my favorites with its gray green foilage and it is very hardy and easy to divide once it is established. I love the encore azaleas because they rebloom in summer & fall (most of the time). Sjoerd, there are still plenty of chipmunks & squirrels...we have only made a small dent in their population.
