New butterfly for me.

    Found this purple copper while on a walk yesterday. Didn't stay still very long.

    After seeing your photograph I did some reading up about this vulnerable little butterfly and found this interesting fact.

    "After hatching, the larva is attended by the ant A. itinerans which is thought to offer the larva predator protection and receive nutritional secretions from the larva."
