We have all hard floors in our house. My brother has a Roomba, an I Robot vacuum for his carpeted rooms. He says it does a great job. Since they have a black and white cat and you never see any black cat hair in their carpet, it must do a good job. So we got one for hard floors and it's called a Mint. Got it yesterday and for the first charging of the battery it has to charge for 12 hrs. It takes a Swiffer cleaning cloth and it does a really good job. My wife had done the living room with a Swiffer just yesterday and I used Mint this morning in there just to see how it would do. It cleaned all of the floor space in about 20 minutes and came up with about the same amount of dirt as my wife did. Once fully charged it will run for 4 hrs. before needing to be charged again. So far I would recommend it. We got ours on sale at Wal Mart for $249. An early Christmas present!
One of my customer need one. I have Pro swifter for my business. I use it on their floors get grocery sack full. I am taking care of their 2 cats for this week. Comb them out outside-hair just flies.
