After years of waiting we finally have our patio.
The chairs need a little repair, be sanded and painted. One Randy found on the side of the road and the other three I bought really cheap a few years ago. Right now they are covered with old towels so we can sit in them.

The table was a freebie 'curb shopping' find a few years ago. There had been a hail storm that broke the glass top of the table and the people put the table on the trash pile and evidently bought a new one.
Randy is going to cut a round piece of MDF that I can paint then install it on the table.

I have several doo-dads to add to the area...a windchime to hang from the center, some planters at the back and one side, etc. But first the table and chairs to do.

You'll have to post another pic when it's finished. I love projects that incorporate freebies! Looks great.

:stew1: Love your cozy spot, Toni . . . you're are very thrifty . . . and I bet your furnishings will last three times as long as some of the stuff made today . . . I love my refurbished things also . . . it makes me feel twice as good as I enjoy my things. It is absolutely a gorgeous spot that you have. Congratulations! :stew2:

Lucky you Toni! I am still working on mine. There has just not been a lot of time lately. Yours like like a perfect space to sit and look at what you've accomplished in the yard! Pull up a chair and have a nice ice cold tea! Cool.

It turned out just dandy Toni, good job to both of you. Of course now you have a new 'problem', what plants to adorn it with.

Absolutely love it Toni. Of course everything you do, make, find, etc. always turns out beautifully. Your area looks so cool and relaxing. And you have it ready to enjoy before it reaches 110 in the shade! So have a glass of ice tea for me (sweet please)! ;)
