This is my rose New Dawn, I grew this from a cutting I got in the mail as a trade about 10 years ago. She seems pretty happy where I planted her. What do you you all think?

Lovely, and obviously thriving! I think whatever the trade was, you got the best of it!

Very pretty rose and a rapid grower. Had it a few years ago it grew so fast I got tired of trimming/pruning and the thorns are painful/dangerous. It’s gone but I do miss all the beautiful flowers. That seems to be the one thing in common with rambling /climbing roses . They are tricky to prune. Kind of like my wisteria…takes over a space pretty quickly. However New Dawn blooms all season.
