A friend of Randy's carved this, he brought it last Wednesday to the weekly dinner get together of the shooting group to show it off. Randy promptly bought it for me.

Ohh, it's pretty. I'd like one like that on the fir tree outside. The bark would blend beautifully with that house. Congratulations!

Glad you all like my fairyhouse, I am really tickled with it.

It is made from Cottonwood which is a very soft wood. Knifemaker(the cowboy alias of the man who made it and I don't know is real name) said that it really can't go outside. Once it has been carved like that it will fall apart outside, so I think I have come up with a place inside for it to be.
I'll post another picture when it is put in place.

Ooo, now that is lovely. What a shame it can't go outside, but I bet you find a super place for it around your home. Looking forward to seeing it again.
