Not only am I new to GardenStew, I am also new to the computer, I think your members will be able to help me with my cultivation questions. Some plants might be different in England, but I feel sure the knowledge and experience of this site will be really beneficial.

My favourite indoor plant is the African Violet, does anybody know what's the best time of the year to take a cutting?

Hi there Cas and welcome to our forums from Scotland. :-D
Please feel free to ask any gardening/computer or any other questions you may have as we all like to help each other out here.
I take leaf cuttings from my African Violet at various times of the year and, as they are houseplants here in the UK, they can be taken at almost any time.

Welcome from East Coast of US (Maryland). Dooley is right, the folks on this site can answer any question. But I think they really like it if they have to figure it out! They don't give up until they have found that answer and then we all learn something new. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I have (I'm new too.)

Welcome from the coast of mid-Norway! :D I've only taken cuttings from African violets once, and they all took, which tells me they're easy to do.

Hop in and make yourself at home. :stew2:
