Hi, Just realized I posted this on the hobbies forum in error. Just dropping in from Sunny South Florida where we are blessed to be able to garden year round. Unfortunately I haven't taken advantage as I should this year. We had a bad drought last year and between that and the water restrictions I just gave up. I still have a few areas planted and some potted plants but haven't had the energy to plant my spring cutting garden yet. If I don't "hurry up and wiggle my hips" it will be too late. I do enjoy reading about other's gardens, seeing pics and getting ideas from others tho and from what I've seen so far I am going to enjoy this forum. I am an avid animal lover and have three BIG dogs and a love bird (all rescues) right now. Just lost my "Old Man Dog" a few months ago. Love my boys and consider them my family. White_Wolfe
Hi White Wolf, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. I lived in WPB for about 5 years....about 35 yrs ago. I had plants everywhere and could just stick a twig in the ground and it would root and grow. But I certainly don't miss the Palmetto Bugs. Sorry about your 'old man dog' We do have a Pet Memorial Thread forum if you ever feel the need to post a photo and talk about your friend. Also, I took care of the posts in the other topic.
I'm so glad you've joined us here at GardenStew White_Wolfe - you're going to love it here. Do post some photographs of your boys and your lovebird as we enjoy seeing others pets and hearing of their adventures. Welcome from Scotland in the UK. :-D
Welcome to the forum, White Wolf, from Central Texas. Post pictures of your gardens, pets, your area, whatever. We are avid photo lookers! We have a cat. I'm not sure if we rescued her 12 years ago, or she rescued us.
