Sorry you are so sad, but I am glad to see you got the "british green racing" pot back. I know I would be sad to part with such a valuable container. i happened to see a little MG the other day that was just that color, too! :D it made me think of you.

I never thought I'd see the day when you gave away one of your 'babies' Philip. It must have been quite a wrench to let it go. I hope it goes on to flourish for its new owner.

    Hi Carolyn,
oh i did stipulate that the green container was not for giving away,..i explained that i had sprayed it myself and that it used to be a paint container,..then i was told i could have lots of containers like this if i wanted,..of course i said yes please,..i can re pot anything i have in smaller pots.

"British Green Racing",..lol,..a nice way to be remembered.

Deanna,..you as well,..talk about a "Sensitive Plant",..amazing how attached we can become to plants.

    -----------------------------------------------------

Eileen,..i do believe it went to a good home,..i gave it careful consideration,..if a good home couldn't be found then i would keep it,..even though it was another pink rose,..oh the last of the three rose bushes grown from seed,..its looking like another pink,..but its planted in a good position so i will keep it.

Well sure enough its another pink rose,..i am in two minds as whether to keep it or not,..the fact i have taken it from the pot and planted it in the garden might help it to remain here,..looking at it i can identify the parent rose bush,..even though there is a more reddish tinge in the middle,..one other rose bush grown from seed looks peculiar,..very leggy,..small leaves,..and appears it will not flower this season,..that's if it is a rose bush,..and not a Brier.

Another one bites the dust,..i dug up the rose bush just above this post,..the second bush grown from seed,..and as i have enough pinkish rose bushes i was in two minds,..keep it or look for a good home for it,..well i found a good home this morning and its gone,..but i got a cutting of a beautiful climber,..alas no name,..but it has very shiny leaves,..it should prove interesting if it roots,..alas not really the time of year to take cuttings.
