No definately not but this is what I see waiting for me every day when I go outside to the back garden.

This is a flock of goldfinches, greenfinches and chaffinches that sit waiting for their breakfast to be delivered no matter what the weather conditions. Sorry if the piccie isn't too clear but it was only 6.30am!!!!

What a nice shot. It give me a very cold feeling. Burrr...
Those poor little finches waiting for their food to be delivered. hahahaha.
If you get any close-up fotos of them, I would be interested in seeing them.
BTW... Bill Oddie had his first show in a series last night on the BeeB, did you know that?

What a gratifying sight that must be! You're both wanted and needed. :) I had a greenfinch in my living room this morning. Lord Paint had got him for breakfast. I remember the amount of noise they make when a huge number are gathered to eat sunflower seed! They seem to have dwindled during the last years, we can't attract many anymore.

Thankfully there are no cars beneath those trees just our other back garden which will soon, I hope, be less of a wilderness and more of a veggie garden. :stew1: I do worry though that all my feathered frends may think we're planting crops just for them.
