My name is Britt. I just signed up for this because I love plants and I actually have a habit of buying them when I'm sad. Unfortunately mine die often because I don't have a place to put them with enough sunlight. But that's why I'm here, to learn!!

Welcome to the Stew! We'll be able to steer you to plants that can live and thrive without a lot of sunlight.

    Gday Brit, and welcome.

As someone has already suggested, selecting the right plants is the key. I have beautiful palms in my bedroom. In their native environment they are understory plants, so they were made to not see the light of day. It's a good way to think about it, looking for plants whose natural environment has similar traits to the one you can provide them. That, or change their environment, of course.
