Hi Tonya, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.

Blogging can become addictive, but in a good way. You can use your blog for keeping gardening notes, putting down ideas for plants you would like to try and other garden projects. Family events, random thoughts, just about anything you get the urge to write down.
It is better tho, to put questions about plants or gardening in one of the regular Forums...more people will read it and you are more likely to get answers there.

I am looking forward to seeing any pictures of your garden that you want to share.

Hello! Yes, Sunflowers love to grow here. There are many wild varieties we see in the country too. There are also farms that grow them for seed.
Now, if it would just stop acting like winter around here, we could get to planting :-x
I know when this weather straightens out, spring will pop, and we'll hit the ground running!!
