Hi All, I am a keen gardener living in the UK. I have been gardening since a small child. I am also very keen on genealogy, another hobby of mine, and have discovered that gardening is in the blood. As some of my ancestors were gardeners as their livelihoods. AcresGM
Acresgm, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. Glad to have you join us. I would love to be able to say that my ancestors were gardeners, maybe some pioneer wife who had to in order to feed her family, but as far as I can find I am the first one who has actually had the gardening gene.
Hi there Acresgm from West Lothian in Scotland. Which part of the UK are you from? My eldest son is researching our family tree and also the family tree of the De Levings who founded our village way back in the 11th century.
