Wow, my seed order from Pinetree Seeds came today. Lots of pretty packages with future goodies in them, some veggies some flowers. The Glad bulbs will be shipped in March.

I know this looks like a lot of seeds but most of the packets only contain 10, 15 or 20 seeds...they cater to the home grower who doesn't need a package of 250 carrot seeds for a family of 3.

Two of them sound like fun to grow....the Blue Jade Corn for growing in containers and the Pumpkin Pepper (which is neither a pumpkin nor a pepper) it's actually an ornamental eggplant that will look just like a small pumpkin when it matures.

Didn't get the small greenhouse set up last weekend, replacing the broken water heater took up the time that was to be spent doing that with the oldest grandson....he helped with the removal and installation of the water heater instead. But we will be doing that tomorrow, so I can get everything ready for seed starting.
I have pots and containers, seed starting soil, a bright sunny window, almost a greenhouse, plant labels...oh, yeah, guess I had better start figuring out where everything will be planted in the garden sometime in late March.

Toni, as usual you are going to have a magnificent, prolific garden! I love Pinetree, and do most of my seed ordering from them since I too don't need 400 bean seeds! (If I had them, I'd plant them so a smaller packet is a sanity-saver).

I've been pouring thru my seed catalogs too, but my last frost date isn't until May 24th, so I have quite a while before I can do any planting!
