This stuffing recipe also acts as a self timer for cooking the bird. Just stuff the turkey with a mixture of unpopped popcorn and butter. Put the bird in the oven at the recommended temp. When the bird is hot enough for the popcorn to pop and blows the turkey's butt off, he's done Take out and serve to your guests!
I can't wait, I wonder if it works for chicken? This sounds better than the pop-up timer. Do you mix the popcorn with the stuffing or do you load the chicken like a cannon. Explosive popcorn first, then the stuffing? It might be an easy way to get the stuffing out of the chicken/turkey. Jerry
