I posted this on AuntieBel, our sister site, but thought some of you that don't visit that site (shame, shame ) might like to see it, too. Tuna salad ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) Tuna salad can get pretty boring. To jazz it up a bit I formed the salad in large biscuit cutters (about 3" across) and chilled it. Then unmolded, wrapped the tuna salad in thinly sliced cucumber pegged with thyme twigs, and placed the salad on a "flower" of thinly sliced tomato. It tasted better than just a dollop of tuna salad on a plate (and it was a lot more fun to make--play with your food!).
Great Idea!! A summer delight to spruce up any meal. As long as I can get past the haunting childhood dinnertime words, "Don't play with your food!!" Jerry
