Went to the Home Depot this morning and they had an item on sale. I bought an electric pole chain saw for trimming tree limbs. It extends up to 15 ft. and only weighs 6 lbs. I have put it together and made sure it works, but haven't tried it out yet. Maybe tomorrow I will get the chance.

We've got one of those and they're great. They certainly save a lot of time as well as 'elbow grease.' :-D

That's what Randy wants to get, wonder if our HD has the same sale going on. I think we will go check it out tomorrow. You have to walk thru the plant section to get to chain saws...don't you? ;)

I paid $118. for it. I have seen them other places for $130. So it may not have been on sale, it may have been their regular price, but cheaper than other places.

When you think about all that overhead sawing it is well worth it! My arms and neck get sore if I do too much of that overhead stuff  I'm a wimp! Not only that, we could help the little old guy across the street with his pruning ;)

Could've used one of those today. I was up on our 6' step ladder and it didn't reach high enough. Let us know how it works.

I used the trimmer this morning. Took down a couple of limbs that were hanging down. They were about 12 ft. high. It works slicker than goose crap!

I got one of those myself and have never regretted it. Where I live, we have a huge yard surrounded by trees, so it's a great tool to use to fix the branches.
