I was thinking today that 2015 hasn't been a wonderful year for us, but it could have been so much worse. In 2016, we have so much to look forward to--gardening, harvesting, good weather, new recipes to try out, new friends and cherishing old friends, contributing to the Stew, and just enjoying all that nature has blessed us with (except grasshoppers). May you all have a happy New Year, with new blessings and lots of things to truly enjoy.
Thank you Jane. 2015 hasn't been a great year for our family but we're all hoping that 2016 will change all that. I wish every Stew member a Happy New Year and all the very best to each and every one of you and your families.
I think our New Year will start off under snowy conditions. We have about a foot of snow now with more in the forecast. I hope it doesn't keep up for several months before the sun decides to melt it. You all have a great 2016 and let the sunshine in! dooley
Thank you Jane and I wish for you all the best and a better year this year. I think it has been a hard year for many of us. Some just don't share as much.
Thanks so much, Jane. I wish you and yer ole man all the best in the coming year. I hope you have a really good bee-year as well.
I echo others sentiments that 2015 want exactly the best year so here's hoping that 2016 is much improved! Happy New Year to all my friends at the Stew
2015 was an over-all good year for us. Our vegetable garden produced plenty and I was able to fill my freezer and pantry. My flower beds were okay but too crowded. The highlight of the year was our new great-grandson and enjoying expanding our family. HAPPY NEW YEAR GardenStew friends!
2015 has been a rather nice year for us with some downs but a lot more ups. Here's hoping that 2016 will be a good one for all of us! Happy New Year!
2015 has also been a difficult year for my family and me after the loss of my dear husband Don in December 2014. However a fresh life for us in the Isle of Wight hopefully will help heal the wounds.
The death's of Aunt's and Uncle's. The realization that I am now considered one of 'The Elders' in the family (for some reason, I've also become the Bank of FATBALDGUY). The birth of a son to a co-worker who, himself, is like a son to me. Working too many hours, for too little money. Definitely going to spend more time in the garden this year. May you all be blessed in the coming new year.
