Hello from sunny southern California. I am new to gardening and look forward to learning from those of you who have been doing this awhile. Best wishes, Sheri
Hi Sheri, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. What kind of gardening are you interested in....veggie, herbs, perennials, native plants? Any photos of future garden, garden in progress you want to share will be appropriately ooooohhhhed and aaaahhhed over, we love to see the beginnings of gardens.
Hi Sheri and a hearty welcome to GardenStew I second what Toni just said, we'd love to hear what interests you in the garden. You'll find a really friendly bunch here
Sheri it's so nice to have you here with us and a warm welcome from Scotland. I look forward to getting to know you.
Welcome! This is the friendliest, kindest, and most knowledgeable bunch of people you'll ever meet! We love to help new gardeners, experienced gardeners, and answer any questions posed. In a way, we are all "new to gardening" because we are learning each day. You are starting out on such a grand green adventure!
Thank you, everyone, for such a lovely welcome! After looking at several other gardening forums, I chose GardenStew because it did indeed seem like the friendliest one. My favorite type of garden contains lots of flowers. It can be so beautiful and alive with activity. That being said, however, the garden currently contains flowers, an herb or two, several oleander bushes and one Crepe Myrtle tree. My husband is the one who dug up the mess that was the previous 'garden' and carefully planned and planted everything that's now there. I am, at this point, more of a 'weeder' and not a gardener. More in another post.
Sherio so glad you joined. Yes this is a really friendly and informative group. I love the fact that their are folks from all over the world here at the Stew. Looking forward to seeing pic's of your little corner of the world.
