Last August I received a bag of about 10 Canna Tropicana thru the rEcycleDFW list. We had enough late season heat for them to send up leaves but no blooms. This is the first bloom from them, I really hope that several will bloom at the same time.

and the salmon colored bloom that looks darker in the picture.

The white Coneflowers that I wasn't sure I had gotten in the ground last fall in time for them to establish and come back.

And the red Monarda that was also planted in late fall and I wasn't sure about it coming up this year.

I enjoy seeing the exotic beauties in your garden, but the Monarda is kind of special because we can grow it here too. I need to get us a white coneflower. They are very pretty.

Your flowers are very pretty. With our season being late this year I just put in glads and canna a week ago so I don't know what will come up. But I enjoy seeing others.
