    S-H--to bad I missed this post. Our daughter has just gotten over the flu! Then again, in the NE US, all the honeysuckle plants are in dormancy at the moment, no greenery to make tea from.

    Thanks for the posting though. Maybe I can harvest some honeysuckle this summer....

    Hmmm? I wonder if you cut a branch and brought it in the house, put it in water, if it would leaf out???

    Good idea 2ofus. I have some bittersweet that has leafed out that way. I brought it in as a fall/winter decoration for its red/orange berries. It did so well, I just added small Christmas bulbs in December & called it Christmas decorations!

    Anyway, bittersweet is an invasive weed. If anything would root in water, that would. I'll try honeysuckle the next time I encounter a bush. Good idea.
