There was a severe weather alert here with high winds and hail but it missed us. I don't know if it went north of us or south of us but it missed us. We had thunder and lots of rain but almost no wind. The watch is in affect for about another hour but now it's barely raining and the sun has been peeking through. I'm glad it missed us but I'm sorry that some people had severe bad weather. dooley

The Texas radar shows that most of it scooted across north of you with some storms following the Gulf coast line south of you.

Our temperature has dropped almost 20 degrees since the front swooped thru here about 3:30 this afternoon (about 4 hours ago)and the winds have been fierce and cold since the temp is now 42. Not much rain to speak of but heading down to the mid-30's tonight.

It was pretty warm and sunny out but the temperature is dropping now down into the upper 30's so it says. Tomorrow is to be only in 60's. That's still too cold for me. I sure don't want any of the snow and blizzards going around the country. dooley

Oh dear. I hope those winds die down and won't do any damage to anything or anybody.

The wind has been fierce here since about 3:30 yesterday afternoon, all night it was steady around 30mph/48kph with frequent gusts of 45-50mph/72-80kph.
Soon as it warms up a little bit I need to look around to see what is longer in the yard or what someone down the street might find missing from their yard this morning.
