It is snowing again today...we are suppose to get 5-8 inches. They said last night only 3-5 but this mornings weather said differently...We are way ahead of last winter for snow but every winter is not the same. They say every area is hurting for salt for the roads. Our road hasn't seen any salt for a long time..they have just been dropping stone...I think the highways should be top priority...but I think the state pays for that salt..I bet they don't run out or at least I hope not.. Here are some pictures of our snow and my dogs that do love the snow...they just can't stay out as long when it is cold..

I did sit and swing the other day...just hoping that spring comes quickly...

One good thing about living in a windy area that some of the snow gets blown somewhere else...

    Scooter loves the snow too..

He is a mess to clean up when you bring him in the house...

I think Shadow found the snow cold when she came up from sticking her nose in it...

But she still loves to run through it..

Playing outside does wear them out and that is a good thing...

Nice pictures Sherry. That looks a lot like the view out MY windows too. We have so much snow we are running out of places to shovel it to! We get a lot of wind here as well, but I find that once we have this much snow, more seems to blow IN than blows OUT. Our snow banks are so high now that when it gets windy we get drifted in.
My dog Boomer loves it. She runs thru the belly high snow for a long time and then its inside for a nap by the fire.

hello Sherry: Your scenery also looks like ours too. The snow is up to the bottom of our mailboxes. Our area for this year has already accumulated 10 feet of snow. Its 5:00 p.m. and hubby just said we probably have 4 ft already and is still snowing at the moment. Atleast here thier putting sand down on the roads. Guess a few of us are living in the wrong state-we should be living where their being able to start gardening in warmer weather. :)

Wow Sherry I've never experienced that much snow in my life. Seems hard to believe that a thing called spring can exist after that but hang in there, it's coming :stew2: Thanks for posting your snow photos for us.

Oh brrrr, how cold looking, that's a lot of snow. The dogs seem to be enjoying it!

I kind of envy areas that get that amount of snow. Around here we get anywhere from a dusting to 6-8 inches t a time. I think I'd enjoy more.

What a loely set of pitures, Sherry. That is some snow! I wonder if I will ever eperience snow like that again. It's so old-looking, yet so cozy somehow. Thanks for showing these 'cool' pics.

You got more than we did in snow...we only got about 3" here, but I know that south of us had much more. My husband played hookie again this afternoon and went out snowmobiling. You know you've been married a long time when... He didn't even ask me to go along, and it's Valentine's Day!!! Your pups look like they're having fun.

Lovely snow-photos Sherry, thank you for sharing. We haven't even had enough snow to cheat-ski in this year, and I find it annoying. Snow is the only good feature about winter, and we've barely had any.

Great pictures sherry8, lots of snow and cold. The dogs seem to love it. Actually It seems that there is more snow down state this year than way up here. Milwaukee has had something like 70 + inches, while we have had 40+ inches. For us that's below the norm. It's been very cold, so the snow that has fallen here is still here, and we have nearly 3 feet out in the woods. The guy that plows our drive is running out of places to go with the snow.
