Sorry to bother you friends, but I bought a small rosebush.
    It looks great,BUT NO smell.
Am I cursed by no smell plants?
I don't know the proper name for this bush, but the sticker says its a KORDANA rose, and it was grown in Canada.
I hope it helps, cause Im at a loss.
    now to the pictures

Please do not think of asking questions as being a bother to GardenStew members, we all love to help each other any time we can!!

Yep, the Kordana miniature rose is unscented. They grow rapidly and withstand packing, shipping and windowsills and appear to have been developed for holiday sales....Valentines, Mother's Day, Easter, etc.

If you repot into a larger pot and place it outside it will get larger but the blooms will always be miniature size.

Ed, we'll get you a scented rose! Take a look at antique, own-root, or David Austin roses. These are the old roses that not only are more disease-resistant, but also have scent. I love Bon Silene, although she gets big; Austin's Julia Child is magnificent, as is Dark Lady and Brother Cadfiel; and for a small rose, Marie Pavie is easy-care and blooms a lot.
Take a look at these roses:

edlou8181, you need the Zepherine Drouhin rose. It's a beautiful medium pink & is the most fragrant rose i've ever smelled. In fact, I feel so sorry for you i'd be happy to root a couple of cuttings of it, for you. Let me know if you'd like them.
