Went tv shopping today, our 15 year old one fried yesterday. We saw a lot that we liked, but have to pay cash so our choices are limited. Going back tomorrow to look some more, without the kids. Of course, having them along meant eating, at Olive Garden, and the mall, naturally. Sarah can't buy shoes anywhere else. And we always take the to OG for their combined birthday dinner. I guess shopping for tv's is a good way to spend the day since it is way to wet to get outside. Wish us luck.

Good luck with the tv shopping. As little as I watch ours, I probably wouldn't notive if it wasn't working.

I was amazed the last time out TV went on the blink just how much Ian managed to achieve when he was no longer sitting watching it every night. Best of luck with your shopping for a new set.

Believe me, I would not miss it either. I don't watch very much on tv. The computer, well that's a different story.

I lived for years without the tube. I sometimes miss those days.

We were without a tv for a great number of years. Then, two years ago we bought one. In April last year we told them to shut off the dish. We just didn't watch it so why were we paying for the dish every month. We spend more time doing things now. But, we still have a computer. Dooley

I was actually going to suggest not buying a new one but that may not go down too well with a 15 year old :) Soon enough all TV will be available to stream online anyhow.

We watch tv almost every night before bed. It's the only thing boring enough to make me sleepy.

Good luck guys! I hate shopping for stuff like that! I really don't watch too much TV either, but the rest of the family does. I couldn't live without my computer though.
