This is a few of the herd of white deer they had at the back of the Lavender farm.

It was a beautiful, sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

    Beautiful, I love Lavender farms.
There is one north of us about an hour away that we have been to and came home with all sorts of things lavender. Car sure smelled wonderful.
Two more down in south Texas that I need to make us travel plans for some weekend this fall.

I can just imagine the smell. How did you walk away without a plant or two?

Quite easily as my garden is already stuffed to the gills. However, I'm planning of thinning things out and making room for more plants that attract butterflies and bees and lavender will be one that I'll most definitely being buying.

Oh, how utterly lovely and green and gorgeous!
Please, in the second from the last photo (white deer photo and two before that) what are the blue cones? And are those cut-outs of people on the hill or was someone practicing for the Stonehenge dance?

Jane this site will tell you all about the Lavender gardens and what the blue cones are. I have to admit that when I saw them I didn't have a clue what they were or what they were for. It's an interesting read:

Eileen, since cricket isn't played in central Texas, I had no idea what the people sculptures were. Now I know!
That is an amazing site--thank you for sharing.
