    This is the green bottle fly. neat green color.

    Nasty little things - we have blue and green bottles here and I hate it when they get into the house. I admit their colour is attractive but it's the only nice thing about them as far as I'm concerned.

    Not a pretty insect but Queens museum in New York asked me if they could use an image of a green bottle fly for an exhibition they did to show how insects help in crime detection.

    Well I suppose if they help to solve crimes then I'll just have to put up with them. :p
