We went to yard sales this morning and I guess I ran out of steam because I didn't get my plants in the ground. Guess I'll give them some water and try it another day. Work 10 to 4 tomorrow and I've told dr that we could go to the flea market on Sunday morning. Maybe Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

Too bad Dooley, but they should hold as long as they are getting enough water. DH and I like garage sales and the flea market too, haven't been in a while.

We have city wide garage sales this weekend. Tonight and tomorrow this place has a lot of traffic. We will get out to some in the morning.

dr goes to yard sales and the flea market when I'm at work on Saturday. He looks for things he can re-sell. We did okay today. He has several boxes of things to take on Sunday. We bought a patio table with a glass top and three chairs for ten dollars. She said she was selling it cheap because one of the chairs was missing. Three chairs are okay with me. We can always pull up other lawn chairs. It doesn't take an umbrella though so we had to put it under the walnut tree. I hope we don't get bonked by walnuts. I think they have all fallen though. I need to rake them up now. Dooley

A table and 3 chairs for $10 dollars, sounds like a great deal to me.

I suggest you position your little gnome friends under them :D

Most garage sales around here are usually only baby or kid clothes. If we drive a bit north of us to the more affluent areas we can get some pretty good deals on goodies.
We usually haunt the thrift stores instead.

We went to a garage sale last night that had fishing gear. But when people wanted to buy he said he was sorry but he just couldn't sell it and put it all back. We stopped at a couple of others but didn't see anything we needed. Wannabe

I love garage sales and thrift stores too. We have a big distribution center for Good Will near us where you can paw through huge mixed bins in a warehouse - anything you find is $1.39 a pound, no matter what it is. Books are 25 cents. I see people there who dig around for things to resell online all the time, all kinds of things.
