Well Wed. is the first day of spring and a sure sign today was some Goldfinches at the feeder. The males are starting to turn their summer bright yellow. Could sure tell the difference from the females.

The harbingers of spring, the loons have been back for a week now. I am hunting for the first brave flower to poke its head above ground. Anyone know a melting chant to make the snow go away faster?
