Not Yellow Yarrow, Maybe Yellow Tansy?

    Another trade marked wrong. I was told yellow yarrow. Could it be yellow tansy?

    Yes,I think you're correct and it is tansy. Mine looks very sorry this year compared to yours :)

    Tansy and Yarrow are in the same Asteraceae family so the leaves look similar but they are different Genera. But yes, that's Tansy. It is in our database.... Tanacetum vulgare (Tansy, Common Tansy)

    Yes, same as ours and the leaves do smell strongly.

    My daughter had this in her bridesmaid's bouquets. The florist called it yellow button flower.
