Last week dr and I visited our garden which we had been ignoring for awhile. We picked a watermelon and a couple of large summer squash and some tomatoes. I've been meaning to take a picture of them. This morning I went outside with Chance and decided to check the garden again. I picked some more small tomatoes and several small yellow summer squash and a few little hot peppers.

I, also, got a couple of butterfly and zinnia pictures.

After I finished with the picture taking, I went outside and put some Christmas garland and bows on the fence around the porch. I don't think I've ever put up outside Christmas decorations after Thanksgiving when the temperature was more than 70 degrees and flowers were blooming.

I had to take a picture of the Christmas garland and the flowers together. It's supposed to get to the 50's during the day and 30's at night this week with rain so I hope the flowers don't go away.

Gosh you have fruit, veg, flowers, butterflies, sunshine, warmth and Christmas garlands all at once!!!

In comparison I have bare trees, really soggy ground (lots of rain recentyl), hard frosts overnight and only my mahonia is in flower. :( No Christmas decorations for me yet only the bird feeders outside.

Quite a differnece isn't it?

Wow, for Nov. Watermelon looks pretty darn good right now. I see those pretty morning glories have all been taken down. I have a few decorations up, which is early for me, but our big tree won't go up till a week before Christmas.

Oooh, that watermelon looks tasty. And so does your blooms. :D The only thing blooming outside here are frost roses, and the rosy cheeks of the children. :D I like your Christmas decoration.

What an enjoyable posting, Dooley. I just got this big smile from ear to ear looking at it.
Nice flowers and nice harvest! You must be well chuffed.
    Congrats.
