I sent a tech request for my photobucket account to them last week because various friends were also having problems viewing my pages. They finally got back to me. For some reason, my pages were not displaying the correct link/s. I would not know why, but he sent me the correct link, so NOW when I want to post pictures on here, I will have the right links. At the moment, I don't have any pics to post, but perhaps later I will. Maybe I will get out and take a few pictures this weekend. My forsythias are beginning to bloom, and the flower buds on the red flowering quince [they look pink to me] are about to bust open. The daffs are in bloom, and the grape hyacinths, some tulips are putting out buds. I bought a few pansies yesterday. Gotta get out there and plant them.
Yeah, and he gave me a LONG list of which links to use for what... I had to flag that email, because I will never remember them very well. I don't know why you just cannot use the link in the address bar. I think that part is silly.
You know how things can get when they call it "New and improved", LOL. I had to do twice as many clicks with the new version. I just started using another site, easier.
I had a similar problem,..as i hadn't logged in for a spell i wasn't aware the site had changed,..upgraded they said,..mmmm it was better before they messed about with it,..anyway i just bookmarked the main page and saved my log in through Firefox,..but i still don't like the present appearance. I liked the old photobucket pages better myself. They were much easier to use. And you could make them whatever of many colored and printed backgrounds they offered. Now they are all plain old gray. Blah. You can be sure if it says "new and improved", it is NOT improved. Has anyone noticed that hotmail is now Outlook, and plain old stripped down email ? Blech on that too. Gmail is just as ugly.
YouTube changed to a drab gray then a facility came along to enable one to choose your own background colour,..not part of YouTube i might add,..now when everyone has used that facility YouTube want us to upgrade to its NEW channel,..errr i think i will keep what i have,..and i can also change to any colour i like.
I did recheck the gmail options, and they have added a few nicer looking options for the pages. However, the one I want is not the one that shows up when you select it. You Tube here looks pretty much the same to me. Mostly I just watch music or videos that interest me on there.
I cant post pics with that old method either. It is far easier to upload right from the computer instead of third party sites.
